GOALS OF UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM (S1) FACULTY OF MEDICINE

To
educate students to be a dedicated doctor, with high
responsibility in medical ethics to the people and the
nation as well as to achieve community welfare materially
and spiritually. |

produce highly educated professionals who are able to
implement, to maintain and to develop science and
technology especially in health sciences, as well as to
make all effort to improve national and regional health
development. |

To
produce skilled human resources who are able to perform
research culture. |

To
carry out medical profession within the public health
service system in accordance with the rules and the
government general policy based on Pancasila (the Five
Principles of Indonesia) |

To
detect and to formulate priorities in public health issues
recently and in the coming years based on problem solving
through planning, implementation, and evaluation of
programs of promotion, prevention, therapy and
rehabilitation. |

To
solve individual health problem through anamnesis,
physical examination, laboratory examination, as well as
observations and recordings to identify, to diagnose, to
treat, to prevent, to refer, to rehabilitate considering
individual’s physical condition, mental and
sosio-cultural well beings. |

use optimally all resources and personnel which will
improve community health condition |

To
behave as a leader in health personnel team |

be aware that a good health care system is important in
improving community health |

To
educate and to improve potential resources in medical
community for a better development in medicine based on
the philosophy of long life medical education |
