University Research Institute functions to guide and develop
science, technology, and the arts, in order to reach the goals
of the university.
This
institute was founded on February 1, 1981with the following
objectives:

serve as planner, coordinator, monitor, and evaluator of
research done by both faculty and research centers. |

To
implement multidisciplinary research. |

Managing
the research of human resources. |

Managing
research cooperation between the university and outside
institutions |
Presently
the institute has 6 multidisciplinary centers under its wing,
namely:
