Trisakti University pays much attention to international exchange and cooperation programs, and it recognizes the benefits of international cooperation and communication with worldwide universities and institutions in particular international cooperative academic activities as well as cultural exchanges. These various international exchanges support the outlook of Trisakti University in maintaining its place of being a leading university in the 21^st century.

Trisakti University has established cooperative relationships with 39 Universities in several countries and regions of the world (until December 2000). Based on this network, Trisakti University offers various partnership programs, such as exchange programs, dual degree programs, joint research programs, interactive programs for students and faculty members, exchange of informations, and invitation of guest  faculty members. These cooperation programs are implemented with universities, research institutions, governments, companies, and international worldwide organizations.

The External Affairs Division is responsible for the administrative function related to international exchange and cooperation programs.
